Hi Kathie, Rhapsody gift membership and downloads are sold only as pre-paid cards through Radio Shack and Target stores in the United States.

Ben December 13, 2012 02:53Why not online?? It's an online service! This seems like you're making it really hard for people to give you their money...EditDeleteRemove

I've tried every radio shack , target, best buy and walmart in the area. Not only does no one have them, they all told me they only sell i-tunes! Maybe i-tunes is bullying them!

It's not much.... and honestly not that ideal being this close to the holidays, but I was able to find two different gift cards at Target.com.
http://www.target.com/s?keywords=rhap...
One is a 2 month subscription for $24.99, and the other is a $50 MP3 store credit for $39.99.
I'll ask around and try to find some actual stores that provide them as well, and if something turns up I'll let you folks know. -

Just a quick update, Radio Shack and Dollar General may have them in-store and Target.com (Target doesn't carry them in-store).

Sorry - this is kind of crazy.
I really like Rhapsody, except for the fact that there's still no Mac client and random songs don't play (although this has seemed to get better).
But really, no way to do a gift subscription online? I want to get my father a sub for the next year for Christmas, and instead of some easy way to do it I'll have to sit down with him and set up a subscription using his info and my credit card. Not exactly an elegant solution. -

Radio Shack has them, but after numerous attempts to buy the 2 month subscription gift cards over the last week, I still don't have any! The server that handles and authorizes registration of these cards has been down for days. Rhapsody just lost out on sales, plus possible new customers who were going to be gifted them. Really irritating, but I still love the site.

What a pain, seems that Rhapsody is not interested in providing us the ability to pay for their service. Everywhere I go can find ITunes and Napster cards, but no Rhapsody. Come on Rhapsody, do a little work for your customers will ya. I would really like to provide this service to both my kids, but I am not putting my CC on file for them to download whatever they want, but I would buy them music download cards as rewards.

Called Rhapsody to ask if there's a way to buy a gift card; They had to check (never had this question before?), but came back by saying that I could buy at a Costco (in-store only). Maybe try that if you have one near you (I don't). The only place I found them online is at target.com, but they said they were sold out.

I just checked Target and Radio Shack online and no luck in find gift cards. Has anyone had any luck?

Target has them online and in stores. The one on line is 40$ and you get 50$ for that, In stores they are 20$.

They are just throwing away money here. I've bought Netflix gift subscriptions and it took minutes on the internet, not hours in a store. Insane.
