Playlists won't update on iphone
My updated playlists and new playlists are not appearing on my iphone app. I have the iphone 3gs. Is there a lag between when i create a playlist on line and when it should appear on my iphone for downloading. Thanks

I created some playlists on the computer and then went over to my iPhone and they weren't there. Restarting the iPhone app did fix it but it would be nice if there was a refresh button on the playlist page. I think most people would prefer to set up playlists using a PC due to the larger screen.

I'm having this same issue and none of the tracks on my playlist are on my disk...any suggestions on how to get my playlists created via web browser to appear on my iphone app?..i have successfully created playlist on the app and had them sync to the web browser, but not vice versa.
Cheers. -

Clark,
If you have the latest version of the app installed, you should be able to force an update of the playlists.
You do this by performing a quick "swipe-down" on the list of playlists in the My Playlists section of the app. -

the "swipe-down" feature is cool...i've tried it a couple times and it just says "Updating... Last updated:12/31/10 7:59 PM"...my connection is strong and i've let it sit for 30 mins, but still not luck.
Thanks for you help. -

I had this problem on the 3GS as well. I was able to get my online playlists to show up after I selected each of them, clicked "edit", then clicked "save" after making no changes. I was signed in on the iPhone at the same time, and the online playlist would show up on the iPhone pretty quickly thereafter.

1It's weird. The swipe down seemed to work when it first came out, and then I also noticed it not working.
What I do is go the Settings area from the home screen. In the Settings page, there is an Update button to do a full sync. This has worked for me. -

How can I get all the playlists I have created on my computer to show up in my Rhapsody account and on my iphone? That's why I have the app on my phone so I don't need a mp3 player also.

Try going to the app's "Settings" and if "Force Offline Mode" is set to "ON" then turn it to "OFF". I believe this will then change your options on the app and enable you to update your playlists.

A new version of the Rhapsody app should be out by the end of March.
