I created a new topic with a status update on the 2.2.7 issue, and reposted below with the link.
UPDATE : Solution Identified for iPhone for Rhapsody 2.2.7
We have identified a solution for the reported issues regarding version 2.2.7 and are preparing to submit a new build to the iTunes App Store. We hope it will be released within the week, depending on Apple's app review process.
We apologize for this inconvenience and ask that all Rhapsody Subscribers that have experienced any downtime contact Customer Service at 866-597-5505 to receive a credit.

Hi all,
Today we published our 2.2.7 version of the Rhapsody for iPhone app, and soon thereafter began to receive error reports from users that the app was hanging, and then crashing after performing the update.
In an effort to limit the amount of exposure to users, we have temporarily pulled the app from iTunes. We are diligently working to remedy the situation and will publish an update that fixes the reported issues.
I will reply to this thread when I have updated status to share.
If you would like a credit for any downtime, please contact Customer Service at 866-597-5505.

My Iphone app crashes constantly. More than 50% of the time it doesn't go to the next song, it just hangs. This has been on an iphone 3gs and a 4s. multiple installs, downloads, versions, the app is just always buggy, laggy, and crashy. Can you Please fix this app? I love the service (even though its lacking a lot of bands) but something in this app needs to be fixed. Often I will have to listen to every other song of an album because it just won't play the next one, and the only way to get it to play something is to skip to the next song. Its ridiculous. This is also a brand new phone, got it last week, fresh app install.
Also, you need to eliminate the tiny gap between songs. This is very noticeable, albums are meant to be listened to continuously. Its especially noticeable on live albums.

We've been waiting for a while now, and It's starting to bug me because it's been days and we haven't been getting any updates on the application.
Alot of us wants to listen to the music, especially on our phones because we don't always want to be on our computer listening to music.
Please fix it ASAP. -

Streaming music somewhere else shouldn't really affect it. The only time you'll have issues with streaming at another location is when you try to stream at two locations at once. Currently we enforce a single-stream policy, so you can only stream subscription content to one location at a time.
Roughly how large would you say your Rhapsody library is? A couple hundred tracks? Thousands? Millions? Also, do you have any content downloaded? If so, can you give a rough estimate on how many tracks you have downloaded? -

My (original version one) IPad after 2.28 hangs on message "upgrading Data. Please wait while we..." this goes on for many minutes then app shuts off. I retried several times, reset IPad etc. ALSO on my IPhone 2.28 loaded...but...much of my library is missing. I spot checked several 2012 releases that were in My Library (and still are when I go to web site on Mac) but are not loading on IPhone . Some I loaded yesterday or some going back to January

I have been trying to "update my data" for HOURS now. All spinning wheel, no completion.
I have shutdown and restarted my phone. Killed and restarted the app.

Hey Brendan I wrote about this on another thread but I've got my app up and all my tracks back (thanks!) and I decided it was time to back them all up onto playlists- when i tried to sync my playlists it just hung instead of doing it- any thoughts?

I ended up doing an uninstall/reinstall on both the ipad and iphone and both now work--and all of library is restored. Thanks! (auto-lock "never" was not fixing issuein my case) I did not have a lot downloaded so this is fine

My Rhapsody app still will not work...going on 3 weeks now!! Getting pissed! Give me the old one back!
