Why are several artists on the Catalog list not available today?

There are many artists that are showing up today in the search that are just not available.

It is also taking a very long time to find some of the less popular artist songs today.

Is there a temporary problem with Rhapsody today?

    This has been happening for the past month or so, artists and tracks just greying out off my tracks lists. A lot of these re some of my favorite songs. Between this crappy app and now this happening more and more I am on the verge of canceling my account after having a subscription since Yahoo music merged with Rhapsody.

    You are not alone and this is getting very aggrivating especially for a paid service!!!

    Hey Matt,

    I called Rhapsody and a tech was able to replicate the problem.

    I got the following instruction from another tech to resolve the problem.

    This fixed everything for me.

    My name is James. I am a Rhapsody Technical Support Representative. Your case has been escalated to our department due to severity. Thank you for your continued patience, and I would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced so far.

    I have followed this thread since the day you initiated it. I understand that you are having problem to stream Rhapsody subscription music due to error “Subscription streaming is temporarily unavailable”. I can help you with this.

    Please follow the below steps to resolve the issue:

    1) Open 'Computer' from desktop
    2) Double-click the C: drive (Local Disk (C:)).
    3) Double-click the Program Files folder.(This may be Program Files (x86) if you are running a 64-bit version of Windows.)
    4) In the Program Files folder, locate and open the Rhapsody folder.
    5) the locate and delete 'radfile.rcf'

    I also discovered that the problem of missing songs and slow loading was only happening with the desktop app. Rhapsody in the web browser would play all the songs and load quickly.

    Note to Rhapsody: This problem is a bug as it continues to occur and I have to repeatly delete the radfile.rcf file. Please fix your software.

    Also, please add on the sub-genre lists to your Desktop version.
